Look at the difference in this apple tree in only 5 days. Wowsa. Top one, of course, is this morning.
I'm so grateful for the signs of spring that are showing themselves..the true signs, like this:
And This !
Look at the cherry tree...Today and 5 days ago
My front yard in late June of last year...wisteria growing on the little arbor my son built me for Mother's day, out of 3/4 recycled materials !
My house. Not a palace for sure, but keeps us warm and dry and a place to rest our heads and hearts...
Gardens...to feed our bodies and our souls...
Chickens, to share their eggs with us and make us smile.
Our loyal and loveable dogs, Molly, Bella and Caylee.
One of 4 cats here, Junko Taibei--they own us, they love us, they keep us safe from rodents.
And my wonderful husband, the Irishman. One of the kindest men I have ever known. So grateful to be loved by him.
And my son, Tom, with his cousin's baby boy, my great nephew Aiden.
That same boy at 3 years old. My pride and joy. Grateful beyond belief.
So, there's my gratitude Sunday for you. I am so blessed...

Thanks Celia...amazing where a little gratitude can take you !!
It is a beautiful place to be...I am very blessed.
Dear Cloudia !! Be blessed, sister !!!!
The skies are rumbling like it wants to rain, but so far nothing...it's that delicious place just before a storm.
wow. Beautiful place. I would love to have a place like yours, surrounded by nature, fresh air, large garden to plant flowers and veggies - wonderful. I live in a suburb so there isn't pretty much space to grow plants so I had to make the most out of my tiny garden- still something to be grateful for though. :)
Ahhh.... I am basking in all this wonderful sweet blessed air and light, Annie. You have done it today, making a place for everyone who comes here to feel renewed. :-)
Jen !! Thank you for coming by...we all have things to be grateful for, don't we ??
I am one lucky ducky to get to live where I do !!
DJan...thank you for your kind words...It has been a really beautiful weekend around here, and people are mobbing the garden centers and seed stores, everyone SO ready for it to be spring.
I have a wooden sign on my front door that has a Pennsylvania Dutch look to it and it says "Welcome to this House of Peace and Rest."
What a beautiful garden and house you have, thank you for sharing your lovely part of the world :)
Thanks for stopping by!
I love the Gratitude Sunday posts, don't you ?
Awesome that you remembered to snap a few pictures within days of each other. Isnt it amazing the difference a few days makes in the Springtime? Hope you have a great week.
Thanks for stopping by Robbie ! Yes it was amazing--we had such a rough winter here, and today has been tornado warning and torrential rains and winds. Hoping it doesn't destroy the crop for this year...
